Sport has always been my heartbeat. From a young age, I learned the power of hard work, determination, and the pride that comes with representing something bigger than yourself. For me, that something is the Waller nameā€”carried with pride on my jersey and in my heart every time I step onto the diamond.
As one of the youngest female catchers on the Australian team, Iā€™m chasing my dreams with all my heart, aiming for the 2028 and 2032 Olympics. But the road to those goals isnā€™t easy. I balance full-time work, university studies, and a training schedule that can stretch up to 14 hours a day. Through it all, I hold onto the belief that perseverance and passion can help overcome even the toughest challenges, including the funding shortages facing Olympic and Paralympic sport.
Above all, Iā€™m committed to lifting up the next generation of women in sport. I want to show them that with hard work, dedication, and heart, they can break through any barrier.
