Sport has always been my heartbeat. From a young age, I learned the power of hard work, determination, and the pride that comes with representing something bigger than yourself. For me, that something is the Waller name—carried with pride on my jersey and in my heart every time I step onto the diamond.
As one of the youngest female catchers on the Australian team, I’m chasing my dreams with all my heart, aiming for the 2028 and 2032 Olympics. But the road to those goals isn’t easy. I balance full-time work, university studies, and a training schedule that can stretch up to 14 hours a day. Through it all, I hold onto the belief that perseverance and passion can help overcome even the toughest challenges, including the funding shortages facing Olympic and Paralympic sport.
Above all, I’m committed to lifting up the next generation of women in sport. I want to show them that with hard work, dedication, and heart, they can break through any barrier.
